Something else to consider. I also just replaced both upper and
lower balls joints with Moogs. The old uppers were not bad, however
the old lowers were completely shot. The ball and stud just flopped
around completely loose. Totally shot. The new balls joints really
firmed up the front end. This, along with new shocks, make the ride
feel like new. I have 90,000 miles on my '98, and I hate it when
everything starts to feel sloppy. These replacements made a big
difference.
