I've worn out quite a few myself

Front driver's side replaced twice

Front passenger's side replaced once

Rear driver's replaced twice

All replaced due to leakage. They all lasted almost 5K except for the rear passenger side that held up. Edelbrock refunded my money after the last one blew. I go wheeling quite often and the shocks couldn't handle the strees.

The support person I talked to said that the IAS weren't designed for heavy off-road use. I then questioned the ads as misleading because it says "The best baja racers use IAS shocks". She then informs me that those types of races don't normally last longer than 500 miles and they are replaced after every race. That's when I was offered a refund.
