Why not try the higher wattage aftermarket bulbs first? I have the 100/80W bulbs in mine and they work waaaaaaaaaayyy better than the wimpy stock ones. I find that with the fogs jumpered to stay on with the highs, it's all the illumination I need on dark roads. I very seldom even have to use the high beams since I went with the 100/80W bulbs.Steve
