Bill, finally getting the right parts tomorrow! If www.dodgeparts.com doesn't carry the right part numbers for the bolts and rivet than your dealer should.

I'll post pics and the CORRECT part numbers as soon as I put them on to verify everything works. My dealer was able to track them down after I got this e-mail from another guy who installed his last year:

"Info on the gas tank skid plate. I to have a 2001 D'. You do not need to drill any holes. They are all there. I installed this skid plate on my D' back in November 2001. Good luck getting the hardware. At that time there was no hardware listing for this part. You will need however the correct hardware to install this skid plate. I had an advantage. I live in Newark, Delaware, 4mi. from the plant. My neighbor down the street from me works there and was able to get the hardware for me. That is not a option now The shorter brackets on the skid plate attach to the outer frame with the same hardware as the two front skid plates.

The taller brackets on the gas tank skid plate near the drive shaft side attached using a compression fitting with a bolt. The fitting is a brass cylinder shaped fitting with a hex shaped flange. As the bolt is shot in, it expands the fitting to hold it in place. Look up under your D' and you will see the hex shaped holes already in your frame. Again no drilling is needed."

"It made no sence to me to offer an after factory Mopar add-on product such as this skid, and not include or make available the necessary required hardware. The torx bolts for this side are made to seat in the round indentations on the bracket and the hex flange collar insert is made to fit in the hex shaped hole in the body frame. You will need to shoot the bolts in with an air gun to expand the collar or put a lot of torque on them by hand with a ratchet."

It's not as simple as the regular skid plates are! I'll keep you posted.
