Sorry Gregg i did not follow you on this one, I hope NOT having high beams are legal, (Lastly sans capacitor and ballast you're just getting blue colored bulbs) I hope you are not refering to the HID'S, because these are 6000k, . Gregg , there is a kit also for 900.00 that DOES have high beams, we went through this about 3 months ago so i decided to drop it because of the negitive post. Now that i had a chance to REALLY use these i cant say enough about them. As far as heat goes, they are actually cooler than all the halogens i have ever used. I will say that these DO light MUCH better than any Halogen buld on the market and i have had NO problems with oncoming traffic flashing me or POLICE...
