This has been covered at length. I will simply add that not having hi-beams may be illegal in some States. On most HID equipped cars, the hi-beams are separate Halogens and the lens etc. is geared for the respective (HID and Halogen) light dispersion. Lastly sans capacitor and ballast you're just getting blue colored bulbs that are a fraction of the output of your current 9007.
