I limit my gas to Chevron and have had no issues with it. Since a lot of people recommend using the Techron additive to other gas brands, it seems to me that you would be even better off if you used the gas that actually came with it in the first place. In any event, I only use Chevron in the D and when I bought my wife a used '88 560 SL last summer the "experts" told me to use nothing but Chevron in that car too. So far they have been right :)Steve
