I noticed that while idling, I get this weird noise. You can't (or maybe hardly) hear it if the hood is closed. I think it comes from somewhere close to the oil dipstick comes out. If you step on the gas, it goes away. I am not sure whether this is "pinging" or not. It sounds more like a "rrrrrrr" sound, or a very mild pinging sound..if you listen closely. I currently have a little over 5,000 miles on my D. Any ideas what it could be? Something to worry about or is it just normal? Thanks again!
