The view from the Empire State Building is awesome. We went up during the day and again at night. It is 2 different experiences. I do have to say the daytime view was the best though. We also walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, well most of the way. There are pedestrian and bicycle lanes above the auto traffic. I also enjoyed walking through Times Square. This is definitely best done at night to get the full effect.
