Question on muffler: Wanting to replace Gibson muffler...with Flowmaster

I currently have a Gibson 3" Catback, but the muffler is rattling (something gave out inside), wanted to cut in a Flowmaster but want to retain the quiet rumble of the Gibson.
Any suggestions on Flowmaster models, any other muffler that is free-flow but quiet? I know Borla is quiet, but have heard longevity of muffler is not the greatest.Thanks.
