Dynamat Extreme is 4X more effective than the original Dynamat and it is much easier to install. You don't need a heat gun and it is thinner which makes it easier to mold around the cracks. My partner used the old Dynamat on his Dak the warned me to look out for the black sticky glue that he said gets all over everything and wouldn’t come off his hands for days. The Extreme version isn't like that at all, I started out with gloves on but soon realized that it was unnecessary.

I've never used the spray on stuff but Dynamat told me that it is best put on in many light layers and if used inside your D you have to let the fumes get out for a long while before you can drive with the windows up.
