I found some additional info on tire chains.  After measuring the clearance at the wheel well, I can tell the only chain that will work is a cable chain.  The front tire has less than 1/2" clearance when turning.  

I found this picture of a Durango with chains on the SCC-Chain website.  The "Super Z LT" or the "Z Chain LT" are listed as acceptable for use on the Durango.  You can access this website at www.scc-chain.com.

Does anybody have experience with these chains?  How do cable chains like this stack up against link chains?
