I purchased and installed a set of Silverstars today. I drove around tonight and tested them out. They are definitely whiter, and not blue like the Eaglites were. I'm not sure yet whether they are any brighter. They aren't dramatically brighter, if at all... They look to be a much higher quality bulb than the Eaglites were, which raises my confidence about the longevity a little bit.Dave
