I just put new tires and new shocks on my 99 D. The sensa-tracs definatly make the ride a bit more harsh. It seems to bring out move of the road imperfections like a truck would, but these really do help the handling charactersitics of the D. Body roll is down, nose dive / nose high is down, and seems to keep the wheels planted better. The addition of the new tires (goodyear wrangler AT/S) seemed to help quite a bit also. Just the tires alone made the ride much better when I got back from the tire shop. Then I put the shocks on and drove 300 miles back to my home.

overall: I do like them but, I have to wait a month to get a full opinion.
