I can't help you on the Caravan but I would guess there is a large grommet going through the firewall on the driver side. I used a coat hanger on the "D". I ran it through from the engine side, hooked the radio wires and coax to it and pulled it back into the engine compartment. I got the 12dv from the power center under the hood. I mounted my Yaesu FT-90 where the ash tray was.
