I've done a couple of them. If you have the overhead console a neat trick is to remote the speaker in the spot behind the drop down compartments. My XYLs truck has the older style velour over plastic on the overhead. I managed to take out the plastic with a drill press and a hole saw (no guide bit) and then crack out the plastic leaving the velour as a grille cloth. Sweet install and with the speaker a few inches from your ear, it works real nice. I put the radio into the hole beneath the stock infinity AM/FM. On my 95 Grand Voyager I did a head install on the overhead console, on top of the spot where the compas and clock display would have been if it had one. The radio body was remote. I did a similar trick on the D, there's a note in the archives here about that. Power install should go back to the battery direct if possible. I've been able to sneak the wires through an exsisting hole by poking through the grommet and then gluing the hole shut with sillicone. Stan
