As Glenn said, shock replacement is pretty straightforward. The trickiest thing is keeping the shock from spinning when removing the top nut, but the vice grips will take care of that. Also, if you have a 2wd D, I think there is a coil spring around the shock, and that may complicate things a little, but not too much.Good luck. I think you'll be happy with your new shocks, whatever brand they are! :)
