Confirm that Glenn. I have a late 2001 that has the taper. I ordered pedals about 6 months ago and got the square design which doesn't exactly fit right. The 2 bottom holes as supplied don't land on the pedal. I think I'll check with Russ about getting a fix for the brake pedal only if he's willing to do it.Bob
