I had to spend the day in the area waiting on my trailer to have some repairs done. So I decide to kill the time by going on an adventure. This is also the trip that is being planned for November by AZ. DOC. If your from SoCal and you've made and enjoyed the Crown King run I'd recommend this one also. Crown King ain't got nuttin on the last 8 or so miles of this one. And at the destination there's the Gila River just 3 or 4 more miles that can be driven in. I went about 1 mile up it and would have went further had I been accompanied by a vehicle carrying a winch. I saw tracks but the bottom was getting further from the surface and muddy.
