Try sliding both roof racks all the way to the rear. That cured the noise in the rain that I used to get.

As for the squeaking while turning right, that's a known issue with earlier models that has been addressed by a re-design of the 'intermediate shaft'. To replace this will cost you big bucks ($400 is what my dealer quoted me). Lubricating it only works for a short while. I just live with it.
