35 all around for me also.  When towing (just like Joe) I jack the back up to 40.  If I run the back that high without a load, the wheel hop gets real bad.

Of interest, I also found the slip sheet in my glove box with a recommended pressure for the 265/70/R16 to be 30 psi.  Supposedly this is the document I was to use as the door sticker specifically states the 15" tires, which I don't have.  D is at the dealer having the intermediate steering shaft U-joint replaced so I asked them.  They emphatically said 35/41.  I found that very interesting.
