If you have a 5.9, most of the performance mods are high flow intake like Intense Performance or QuickD offers, coupled with a ported and polished Throttle body from Fastman, and a flow through type muffler (flowmaster, flo-pro, MBRP, etc.).  Those are the basic mods for performance and improved economy.  After that, if you are serious, a performance PCM is available and an M1 intake from Fastman is the next step.  If that is not enough, Dan also has other goodies to go fast including heads and other fun stuff.  The sky is the limit (as well as how much is left on the plastic) :-).
