46-RE transmission (long)

I had a long chat with my service manager today and found out a few things of interest. He tells me his dealership had too many problems with the 46RE. They discovered the new and improved filter ain't so hot. It tends to distort from temperature and starts restricting flow after as few as 15,000 miles. They have gone back to the old style paper filter instead of the plastic one. So I made an appointment to have the tranny serviced since it has 28,000 on it now. They're also going to do the rear spring TSB since mine click like crazy everytime I hook up the trailer or have it up on a rack. First mechanical warranty work since I got the truck.
