I had the same problem bout a year ago. About 1/2 back on my leaf spring there is a shackle that holds them together and a rubber gasket/spacer to keep it from rattling. I examined both leaf springs and noticed one (left side) was missing. Took it into dealer and while I ate their donuts they replaced it in about an hour. Hope this helps...
