At a mere 13,074 miles I have joined the Dead Battery Club! The battery was the original, installed at the Newark plant when my truck was built in Oct, 2000. I'll have to have a talk with those folks during the plant tour, this Oct.
Luckily (?) the battery died while I was at a dealership! I was checking into my anticipated sunroof mod, so they replaced it under warranty. So I guess that qualifies as lucky!
Now, how long should I push my luck with the "new" battery?
