I use the same type as Aegir. I tow a 25 foot Sportsman & can definately see behind the trailer with them. I can't remember who they were made by-I think it is Hensley or something like that. I bought them from a freind who had the on his D. I have the 5X7's & used to tow my 18 foot Aljo with only the stockmirrors. That worked fin, but the new one is a lot wider. I had the slip on mirrors for my 1 ton 4 door chevy, and could not see to well because of the vibration. I don't like the way the ones I have strap on, but they work very well. You just have to make sure that where it contacts the paint is clean before putting them on. It definately makes it nicer when passing all of those Sports cars!
