Hotchkis Sway Bars Installed

Last week Monday, Neil Franklin and I attempted to get the sway bars installed. We attempted the front first but just couldn't seem to break two of the bolts free. As it turned out, the bolts were welded in (DUH!!!  lol) and we should have tried to loosen the nut from the front of the cross member (found this out after my mechanic installed it). So, we just got the rear set in and as just mentioned, my mechanic did the front's for me this past Wednesday.

I figured I'd drive around on them for a few days before posting results.

There's about a 30-35% reduction in body roll and sway when turning. The D really does feel more stable and remains pretty much flat on hard turns. Ride quality was not compromised that I can tell. The good tires help with grip too.

THANKS Neil for your effort and the three rides in your Stang..... that thing's awesome!!  :-)  I'd also like to thank Dominic at D&M Automotive in Union NJ for the good work they've done for me in the past and taking me in right away to install the front bar. Took 'em 30 min!!! Well, I guess it helps to have the right tools...... (and to know which side to attack a welded-in bolt!!).  :-)

See ya'll on Saturday!!!

John
