I have a 99 Dodge Durango (5.9) that has just started stalling just like you described your wife's Durango doing. Yesterday it stalled when crossing a very busy intersection and I almost wasn't around to complain about it. Did you try replacing the PCM? If so, did it work? I have read several threads from several sites where many people are having this happen to them with the 99 5.9 Durango. It would sure seem that enough people are having a problem with this that Dodge would publish some type of service bulletin.
