Newbie member- Buy a 2002 R/T or wait for a 2003 with H.O. engine?

Hi everyone!

I currently own a 2001 D with the 4.7, but want more power. Actually I originally wanted an R/T in 2000 when I bought the SLT+, but I couldn't locate one.
I have a small refundable deposit on a new 2002 D R/T but have just heard that they may put the 4.7 H.O. engine in the 2003 R/T...is this true?
I welcome any opinions on what I should do.
