I think I'll try a dealership one more time. I've already been taken for a ride by one here. I took my D in for front end work and well u probably read the nightmare story.
But it is getting better.
I also ask the advisor to check the rear end out. When I told him what it was doing. He told me that it was the lube getting old. It only had 15K on it though amd the noise started at 13K. So instead he wrote the ticket up as a lube change. So I pd. $77(which I'm thinking of disputing with my CC company) and now I have been informed by a fellow D owner that the anti spin clutches may be freezing up( his description of the problem fits perfect). Now 1 wk later it's making new noises.
I know that there are some excellent dealers out there. After all they are certified shops who specialize in Diamlyer Chrysler products. Which is the main reason I've allways stuck with the dealer for service other than routine maint. It's not like they've never seen a D on the rack before.
To be nice I won't print thier name in public but I will send it to anyone who asks. They a 5star dealer.
Thanks,
James
O, by the way. I got to talking with the tech that did do the front end service. Come to find out he has a 2K D. So I told him about the DOC and it's very informative website. Which he hadn't heard of yet.
