Re: Looking for borla side exhaust for my D

The borla cat back kit for the D comes with it exiting out the stock rear location only. I don't believe that there is a cat back setup that has a side exit. The only way to have a side exit would be to have an exhaust shop do a custom bend. Where do you want the exhaust tip to come out? In front of the rear wheel or after? Behind the rear wheel can be done. It has to go through the rear leaf spring. In front of the wheel has issues. Someone had done this kind of setup. He said is akward for passengers getting in the rear door. Burns can occur.
