Re: Motors to raise windows

Yup it is a known problem. There is a TSB recall for a new regulator, as I believe either the existing motors are getting to much voltage or not enough and they fail to operate. I replaced one of my motors about a year ago, and it worked for a year; however, recently it is going toast. The dealership is doing the TSB recall for the regulator which is suppose to stop the motors from dying - so I guess they are getting too much juice. My D is a 1998.
