2001 4.7L SLT+ Items of concern

A new member, I have been reading the Forum for a little while now and have decided, for what it's worth, to throw my two cents in. I recently purchased "Thumper," a 2001 Patriot Blue 4.7L SLT+. I have to admit that yes, I love this truck! Geeze! OK, I also found that I too had a few of the same concerns posted here. 1. Driver's seat (pwr/heated) is a bit loose and the Dealer says that is "normal". 2. No Hood Light. Dealer installed one for free, after I bought the parts at dealer cost. I also found out that it was a cost-cutting measure from D-C. Late 2001s received no Hood Light. 2002s received no Hood Light or Insulation! 3. The Lug Nuts were all torqued well over 110. The Dealer re-torqued them to 90. I would also like to know what the heck that little opening is good for on the lower center/right hand side of the dash?
