FORUM ARCHIVE SEARCH IS HERE!

After many months of testing, learning, testing, learning, etc., etc. (getting regular expression matching to work ONLY the way you want it to is a REAL pain!), I've finally got a product that "seems" to work correctly. I've added a new "Search the Archives" link at the top of the main Forum Archives page or, if you just can't wait to try it out, visit Search The DOC Forum Archives. Please read the instructions before you use it!

BE WARNED, searches are not quick! In fact, with the total archives containing well over 80,000+ messages - and growing -, I had to limit the searches to groups of date ranges to keep things from timing out before they could finish. This is still very much a "work in progress" so if you encounter any problems please let me know exactly what happened - including what you where searching for and what, if any results you got. I have some future modifications planned I hope will speed everything up so stay tuned.
