Getting forced induction involves more than just installing the unit. How much boost are you planning on running? The D's bottom end can't handle too much PSI. You're going to have to build up the bottom end and get it balanced if you wanna run high PSI. And the tranny will have to be gutted and replaced with stronger internals if you want even more PSI.

There was a 5.9 Dakota with just a 50 shot, Borla exhaust & no other engine mods at test & tune night at the track. Halfway down the track it made a sickening sound like metal peices in a blender. His engine - THE SAME ENGINE FOUND ON YOUR R/T - couldn't even take a 50 shot. So be careful when thinking about forced induction. Do your research first.
