Yes, there is bleed through. There is a slight glow around each needle base and also the top row of items in the 'Info Center' can be read. I don't like the glow/bleed that much and the unit definitely is not of OEM appearance in the dark. The main reason I wanted the white gages is actually for bright sun driving. With the lights off and in bright sun with my sunglasses on, the shadow of the dash makes the gages unreadable and totally black. The white faces will definitely clear up that problem, and I don't drive at night that much anyway, so I think it will be fine in the long run.
