First of all, welcome! I have a 98 as well with 77K and have not run into what you describe. The story the dealer is telling you doesn't make sense to me. If it loosens up and can be retightened only to have it loosen up again indicates a problem of some sort. You might request to talk to a tech rep and see what he/she has to say. Good luck!
