Only spent one hour today at SEMA. Here is what I learned.

There is a new 402 Magnum Crate Motor (like the 408s with stock bore) P5007647 from mother Mopar. It is made from all new parts and comes with a 4.00 bore and 4.00 stroke. It features the magnum R/T cylinder heads with 2.02” intake and 1.625 exhaust, 9.0:1 compression ration, a 288/292, 5.01”/.513” lift hydraulic roller camshaft, M1 4bbl intake, etc, etc.

Best of all it makes 435 HP out of the box! It is not recommended for factory MPI installations but I can’t see what would stop anyone from doing what needed to be done to make it work in a Dak or a D. Chrysler does not want the legal problems that might come from emissions. I want one.

There is also a P5007646 395 hp/420 ft .lbs 360 crate motor. It features the aluminum Magnum heads w 1.925” intake and 1.625 exhausts, same cam and intake, and 10.0:1 compression. It also is not recommended for factory MPI installations.

The motor they want us to use is the new P5007732 MPI 360 crate motor. It comes with the standard heads w 1.925” intake and 1.625 exhaust, M1 2bbl manifold, & a 260/264, 4.58”/.467” lift hydraulic roller camshaft. It is a stab and play replacement for the stock motor.

There is also a new P4876786 magnum aluminum big port cylinder head.

I don’t have prices yet.
