98 Durango, 51K miles, no off road, mostly highway: The problem is too much play in the steering wheel. I asked the dealer a couple years ago (at 12K miles checkup)about taking the slop out. He said it is a known problem with Durangos and would only loosen back up almost immediately. Is it true? Where can I find info on how to adjust it myself? I plan to have new shocks, tires, and alignment next week and would like the steering set before I take it in for those items.
