I didn't get a close look at the "SXT" decals when we
took the plant tour, but being plain 'ol decals, I'd bet
they'll come right off with a hair dryer, some "Goo Gone"
or WD-40, and a few choice cusswords. For replacement
"DURANGO", "4X4" and "DODGE" emblems, your best bet is to
go through one of our corporate sponsors- Just click on
the graphic on the left side of the page.
Mods... oh, where to start! Okay, the two easiest and best,
performance-wise... Word is, these'll even help with fuel
mileage, but for me, they've made it so much fun to mash the
go-pedal that I haven't seen it:
New air intake: Intense Performance. Some people'll swear by the Stage III
(Hi, Susie!)... others like me love our Stage II.
New throttle body: "Fastman" Dan Arcand.
Both of these guys are fantastic to work with, are genuinely
interested in providing the best customer service, love their
"D's", and make high-quality gear.
You'll probably also want to replace the stock shocks soon...
Again, you'll get lots of differring opinions. Me, I love
my Edelbrock IAS's, 'tho a few people haven't had the best
of luck with 'em.
Also, lose the stock Badyears ASAP! Once again, a matter of
perference, but both of us in the DOC BigPurpleTruck gang
absolutely love the Pirelli Scorpion A/T's.
Again, welcome... and prepare to loosen the checkbook to
Mod Fever!
