I have 1.7s I installed them in conjunction with my mopar headers and y-pipe. I can attribute a noticable power increase, in fact immediately after the install my wife "stole" her truck, upon her return she ran up to me and asked what I had done to her truck. I agree with others in that if you installed these on an unmodified engine you maybe disappointed with the results. I believe that my modifications are working well together. I am more than satisfied with its performance. So in closing I would recommend the 1.7s if you plan on continuing down the modification trail. Otherwise I would stop with what you have now.
