Were you impressed with the quality of your Gibson tip? I probably wouldn't buy another one. The thing cost almost $40, the name is stamped on crooked and mine didn't get tight enough to fit the stock pipe (I bought a 2.5" tip, which is the size of the stock pipe). I had to shim the tip so that it would fit tight enough that it wouldn't fall off. Very disappointing when I probably could have gone to the local auto parts store and bought a $4.99 chrome tip that would have fit great. Ah well... Now that it's done, I really like the way it looks.What'd you use to bend your tip downward so it would fit over the stock pipe? Do you have any pics?
