I have to agree with RustyFan. 20" rims are the absolute biggest I would go on a D. 18's if you want to tow something of moderate weight like a wakeboard boat. 22" and 23" rims only look good on full sized Chevy and Fords. On D's, they do not look proportional and it's just too much rim, not to mention will kill all functionality. The only thing you can do with them are to drive up a trailer and then back it off at a truck show. Forget about comfort, performance, or towing. Have you looked into the price of one 22" tire?
