Custom Intake on RAM (D's Little Brother)

Hello, Folks,

I need your help.

I have been putting together all the parts to make custom intakes for my new RAM (D's little brother) as well as for my brother's RAM. I was able to get two TB hats with the help of some D-Friends, and just got my RE-0920 K&N Cone Filters from Summit. When I went out this morning to start the whole project, the first problem I encountered was that when I install the s-bolt, there is no way for me to get the TB hat over it. Not enough clearance! And then, placing it on the TB without the bolt, just to see how I would route the tube, I discovered that the intake hole on the hat points directly at the transmission dipstick! What else?????

Please, if you have some sound suggestions, I am all ears. All of this should be working for me. I know TonyD has a Ram kit that includes the TB hat like ours as well, so how in the world would this possibly work in light of the above obstacles?

Like I said, any help is appreciated. I'd hate to send the filters back and sell the TB hats only to find out there IS a way to do it.
