Re: Tire pressure for R/T's ..

I posted a similar question a while back and received similar responses. Most of my driving with my '01 R/T is on rural and suburban roads and highways with maximum speeds of 65-70 for only short segments of roads. I found that my ride deteriorated significantly when I increased the pressure from 30 to 40 (much rougher ride all the time and the D would bounce a little sideways on any irregularities in the road like expansion joints); I didn't notice any change in mileage or handling. I decreased the pressre to 35 and the ride is much improved. I still increase the pressure to 40 if I'm going out on the interstates where I'm going 75-85.
