I tow a snowmobile trailer that has 2 sleds. I tow in MI that the speed limit is 70 mph in overdrive w/out problems. My feelings are if the tranny is not shifting back and forth than keep in OD. If your moving your bros dorm than your trailer should be pretty light and should not cause any harm. What school is he attending?
