The manual says to take it out of overdrive, but I don't. It really depends on the area you are towing. If there are lots of hills, then you will be better to turn off OD. If it is flat, then you can leave it on. Easiest way to tell is by listening to your D. If it is shifting gears a lot, then you should turn off OD....Mike
