Is R/T computer different than mopar performance computer?

Is the R/T computer in my 2001 any different than the mopar performance computer? I have had my R/T in the shop several times for it not shifting right into 2nd gear. I got it back today. I still have the same shifting problem. When you hold the pedal to the floor from first to second gear it wants to go to the rev limiter, bounce off it several times, then shift! NOT GOOD!!!They reprogramed the shift points in the computer this last visit to dealer. Now R/T feels slower!! Is my computer set to factory regular durango settings? I hope they didnt wipe out the R/T part of computer!! It doesnt shift like that all the time. I was wondering if the Mopar performance computer is better than my R/T computer. If so I am going to maybe purchase it. I hope someone can give me an answer to my problem, the dealer dont know!!
