You can't do any better than the service manual. Very clear step-by-step instructions on everything including engine, body, interior, etc. I have used it so many times, it has paid for itself many times over.

Some Chilton manuals are better than others. The ones that cover multiple vehicles are usually not as good as the specific manuals. They also tend to generalize theories where the brand service manuals are very specific to that year.
