Sounds like heat expansion/contraction, and probably does it when you just start it up or after you turn the engine off, right? Mine did it when it was new (of course, on my Toyota), but doesn't seem to do it much anymore. Maybe I just don't notice it now... In any case, it shouldn't be a problem!
